Description
The Egyptians used it during embalming for its surprising antiseptic properties. Thyme grows throughout the Mediterranean basin and in Provence, it is called “farigoule”. Its scent is immediately recognizable and it is one of the flavors of the famous “bouquet garni”. Its fragrance is fine and slightly spicy, it reminds of scrubland and pine forest, a day of summer.
